Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

First of all I would like thank my previous company. They give me a chance for gain knowledge of latest technology.. I have learnt a lot from working with some amazing people and this really enhanced my skills and if I am looking little bit confident today just because of them but now I left last job because I want to face some new challenges and love to work in new environment and in the end I want to say there is very famous saying in English change is second name of life and if you stuck it means you don't want to get progress in life

Dislikes

Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals.
