New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. There's nothing to like about the company in particular.

Dislikes

Company's work culture is at its worst. You'll be successful in this company if you're brilliant at brown-nosing of their manager. Work life balance is terrible, as company doesn't hire enough people. There is no professional boundaries between a subordinate and their respective manager. Management is very negligent towards any feedback and occasionally promotes above mentioned behaviour of their favorites. Worst company to work, the AVP of Implemention is pathetic. Do not know how to manage team and high manipulative. He just wants people to butter him and bring him gossips of the team. Gets too personal with his remarks and have zero empathy towards anyone. He can make anyone scapegoat when things don’t go his way.
