Likes

Lot of scope for learning work. Job is secure and company policies regarding Insurance and payouts is good.

Dislikes

Company can definitely improve on improving work culture. Wipro is not yet process driven company for internal teams which creates unnecessary pressure. Number of managers for a certain amount of work is far higher than required and it has its drawback. Work life balance is not there for the team I worked but not the same for all teams so better to verify that once.

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
