There is nothing good about working here except for the name “WALMART”

The Management doesn’t care about the employees problems. They don’t care if you are burdened with too much work. They don’t care if you don’t have work life balance. Even if you escalate it many times, nothing happens. The Managers here don’t have any experience in people management(atleast in my team). You’re not allowed to say “No” to anything they say. They take everything personally. When you are finally done and want to quit, they mock you like your life is over or like you won’t get job anywhere else. Even then they don’t ask about your problems. But the managers will be concerned about the exit interview inputs because that will affect them. Hierarchical setup for engineers. Manager Oriented company Lack of mentoring for engineers Lack of engineering process in the Company. Works like a service company. Hires a lot of from service companies. You don't find quality product folks. Too much of office politics and bossism. Lack of Tech Learning Hikes are quite less each year. Although it varies from team to team, in general there is work life balance, and the work culture is good. The usual standard facilities like food at the office, and cab services are available. The additional benefits like mobile phone reimbursement, fitness reimbursement are okay as well. There is a general sense of belonging to the company due to the satisfactory culture.

Dislikes

Promotions after IN3/4 are usually slow. Compared to other Tier 1 tech companies, the compensation is generally a bit lesser. The primary goal isn't Engineering Excellence but tech is more of a retail-enabler.
