First i would like to say that Voith as a global organisation is one of the best to work in having worked to overseas colleagues in various capacities and in various project all across i can vouch for the same. But Voith India is a different story alltogether, its more of a 'Indian Lala' company that anything else and with extreme po litics inside. Voith Germany have the best paper machinery equipment and services that only few others can compete with. Voith India internal politics is worse than the Indian political scenario, with 6VPs 1 President and over 20 Managers in an organisation of around 60 people it is a very top heavy company with least scope of growth or opportunities and the employees lower down bear the brunt of all unsuccessful adventures while the limelight for any success vanishes in the top only. No training of any kind are provided or any development initiative are undertaken, in case the employee is lucky and they send you for a training overseas even for a fortnight a bond for 3 or more years have to be signed and that's a trap i would suggest no one should fall for. There is almost no presence or power of a HR and the management makes and amends rules at its fancy. The worst part is they don't have any manufacturing facility and produces all indigenous equipment from local workshops (i may add the cheapest vendor) with no much attention to quality and uses the great brand name and legacy of Voith Germany to sell these products to unsuspecting customers who forever remain unsatisfied henceforth<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. They also have the worst policies for site deputation and quite poor pay in comparison to the market standard</mark>. The worst is managers and VPs always use employees as a pawn in their dirty politics and employee suffer miserably. And to make things worse it is seen that the best employee is the one who leaves office last and not who works efficiently, and buttering is sure to give you high rating during appraisals....Read More
