Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Internal politics as of other organisations also which may hamper your growth

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

Well its a very chill work place. Takes care of employees and their satisfaction. Do not support micro management at all. All complaints about management are taken very seriously. Even the yearly surveys gets audited and for each survey a proper validation is done and actions implemented to make things better.

Veritas is in Backup and Cloud Infrastructure domain from a long time but it is still working as a startup. They are always in loss and always do cost cutting and lay off. So there is very less job security. Actually veritas has no idea how to make things better basically problem with the leadership. Every product or version they release has lot of complexity, problems and bugs. No one know how it behaves. Customer are always dissatisfied with every release. Probably veritas needs to focus on existing version and products and make things better on same version instead of releasing new features all the time. Cost cutting will not generate revenue. You need to make good business and products and customer base....Read More

I work in support so its always a new challenge waiting for me everyday. Since there is no micro management and strict rules which makes my working hours easy to go.
