Excellent company to work for if you are non intelligent and just do what the management wants ... Really this company moves moves and succeeds what come what may but struggles because of several issues (see below).... Much better cooperation when compared to TATAs and Ashok Leyland or Bharat Benz.... Best Indian Trucking company that strives to meet customer demands .... Everything about the company is around cost saving, even customer takes a back seat for cost saving, the only problem is cost saving is done by cutting rather than optimising. Like you cut down hands and legs for weight reduction. But the problem is they think it's technical because it passes CAE and testing whereas it can fail due to dynamic factors and poor child parts resulting in a system failure ... (Particularly the way they have no proper standards or even basic understanding of obtained standards is poor.) Design function is excellent but they are dominated by the purchasing function in pushing decisions based on cost .... Similarly Testing function is excellent but they have no say ... Quality function is full of jokers wasting time working around the problem .... Project team is full of negotiators .... Engineering function is totally useless except a few , has no quality decision making ... Production function will assemble even vegetables on the line just to make numbers ..... But the entire problem is because of poor forecasting and lack of understanding about manufacturing resulting in huge pile up of parts due to frequent plan changes .... The aftermarket hides all information to keep warranty in control .... Not good is just a small part , but much better than TATA's and Ashok Leyland, they are even worser .... Benz is good but they cant sustain the Indian market and they are also in their path towards worsening their product due to cost pressures .......Read More
