The boss can make or break a company. I was lucky to be groomed by a Volvo blue blood. Hence had a fantastic experience. Exposure was good. Its more of a sales consultant job than outright sales. Cant compare it with mass market Asm/Tsm roles. Work life balance is good. Again, depends on boss!

Dislikes

Strong dilution of Volvo culture since Eicher is dominant player in VE jv now. This reflects in distress selling, HR policies and allowances.

It's a beautiful company to work with and can retire. I worked in Sales & Marketing division and I truly enjoyed by 9 years tenure

Promotion is mainly given to employees working in head office, sales team & other front end teams. Apart from sales and service people working in regional offices was given less importance. Sales and Plant is the best place to work if anybody is looking for longer career with promotions.

In terms of women’s empowerment its wasn’t good at all office gossip and loss gossip is all over in plant. No support for women harassment when it cames to office gossip.
