Note: This is only for people looking for devops engineer. The other jobs might differ.
1. Misleading process: The JD is way diff than what kind of work you get. So many things mentioned and asked in interview but we are editing json as a devops engineer.
There is no devops here, only json modification and changing jenkins parameters. They call you CI engineer. Imagine from devops to CI. Limited to Jenkins, no deployments, industry heavily relied on HW based simulations.
2. Terrible Dept: The GISOCC <-- R&D<--DSIS has a puppet mindset being controlled by people in Cairo (GISACC). All the Technical stuff happens in Cairo so bias towards cairo team as they are the controller even tho HQ is in france.
GIS - Group Information System
OCC - Operations Center Chennai
ACC - App Center Cairo

2&3 combined: HR politics to not give you appraisal saying low performance where the manager does not understand any technicalities but pretends to know everything and will judge your capabilities on jira tickets counts. And good luck explaining all these to the mgr. One hr always keeps an eye on what are you wearing 🤣...Read More
