Had good staff members. Whenever I asked for an extension for tasks, due to work life balance, I would receive one!

Dislikes

I was told that I would receive free SkillShare and have not received it through my entire internship, not having the necessary tools to learn and grow. I tried to negotiate my concerns, professionally, with the admin about a showreel task after the feedback but he/she was being unprofessional as the admin just kept stating, "edit is not good" or "the edit looks lazy;" failing to understand my concerns. If the admin would have tried to understand my concerns but gave constructive criticism about how they would approach things, such as "I understand how you see things, but we're really looking for..." or "we don't like the music you used, maybe try to go for something more upbeat so it makes the video engaging," I would not have a problem with this. None of my work I did for the company was used or promoted in any social media platforms despite me having to work so hard to create the videos or make drastic changes to improve the quality. Based on client work, I was given a task to edit a video where I did not understand a word the client said in the video; despite given a transcript, the translation made no sense at all. Avanth should have approached me about the video first, knowing if I would be able to edit the video instead of just throwing me the task as it is. Vaaday Media provided me with a good opportunity to learn basic knowledge and understanding of marketing roles in a VFX company, which I had applied the skills I learned from university. Which was exceptional for me to work in this company in these couple of months. Also, the employees are very helpful and professional,, which helped me enhance my skills and stay up-to-date with the trends

Dislikes

While I had several postiove experiences at the company, there were a few aspects that I dound challenging or felt could have been improved upon, One area that I struggled with was the communications channals. There were instances where important information or updates were not effectively sent. Leading to confusion or inefficiencies in completing tasks.

Vaaday Media was a place where I got the freedom to write content in my own way. There were no restrictions in terms of the structure or language in which I used to write. I could maintain my own identity through out the internship period as the content writer.
