We'll get the positives out of the way because they are far and few. One cannot deny that Godwin Vasanth Bosco knows about the plants in the Nilgiris. And his effort to rewild or replant native species is good for the local landscape.

This is a warning to all women who want to work here. He touts his self published book (Voice of a sentient highland) as proof that the mountains are alive. It's easy to get carried away by wanting to do good for the planet and overlook redflags. He thought he could "hire a bride". He preyed on my keenness for fieldwork to get me to his house. (where his parents were present) and the gaslighting began immediately. I wrote grants worth crores. And he paid me 15k for a month and even that he acted like it was a favour to me. He got visibly upset that I had a partner of my own. And didn't plan on coming and falling in love with him. His parents too were concerned that he hadn't gotten married yet and thought this was an ok strategy to find a mate. *I only went to work. And was very clear about this* He starts yelling, getting upset and throwing his emotions on you like a toddler. He wanted me to use my credibility to back his work (while his knowledge of plants is real, this man has no idea of scientific principles and uses word vomit to confuse his audience into thinking he's smart) He says, and I paraphrase, that if the plant grows towards the sunlight. It's a conscious act. And can be defined as sentience. And therefore the way the Nilgiris have grown and the presence of the Palghat gap is proof that (only) the Nilgiri mountains are alive. He would yell and act up everytime he *thought* I was on the phone with my partner. I would only contact family in non working hours and he would still be verbally abusive
