Great place for creative opportunity. Very organized administrative staff. As a Senior Concept Designer I received ample support and constructive criticism from corporate executives to other professionals in the organization. I also interacted with executive members from Orlando, Florida office time to time. Either I visited Orlandoor other members of Universal, Orlando visited Hollywood for exchange of ideas. It was great advantage for having job site near by. I had the opportunity to supervise and observe the progress of the project very closly. Technological support at the Universal Studios is very advanced and efficient which made my work lot easier. Dislikes

Universal Studios is a Theme Park and Entertainment organization. Professional hire is usually project basis. As an Architect and Designer scope of continuity in the job is limited. Once a particular project is completed usually the project team gets dissolved. It really cuts short the professional growth for an individual. Some times I also felt unrealistic dead line to finish a particular task.

Work Details

I had a very exciting time working with Universal Studios team. I had ample opportunity for creative freedom. Initially it was very challenging to understand the design philosophy. I had to go through lot of research to establish the design ideas.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within Country.
