Job Security is there in IT, But other departments there is no job security. Highly politicized work environment. Management is not that knowledgeable about their business as Owners are not educated. Slightly racist. Arabs (Especially Egyptians) are preferred over other nationalities and paid good salary not for their skills but simply because the management favors them. Politics is there, work culture not good, Politically motivated type of organizational hierarchy, if you make your manager happy then everything fine, else were tough for you . No appraisals. 5 Years no increment for many as they was straight forward and on books many saved millions of SAR for company, but no appreciation nor benefit. I would not recommend this company unless you are in such state to get Job. Good playground to learn retail. Beware of Cheap Politics....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
