1. Unacademy is a place that experiments a lot and shuts them within 1-2 months 2. Leadership is absolutely incapable of running this company due to lack of strategic vision 3. HR of Unacademy is highly inefficient and pathetic. There are no processes to grow in the role and organisation. The only time unacademy's HR gets active is when they have to lay off people. Otherwise they work in silos 4. Unacademy lacks empathy and respect for good talent as an organisation. 5. The CEO Gaurav Munjal is probably the worst leader I have ever worked with in my entire life. He has zero ethics and basics. He fires people left right and center and publically harass people. He recently demoted someone and emailed the entire organisation about it. 6. The COO got his wife as head of HR and both of them just mint money from this organisation without adding any value. 7. The company forayed and shut down too many verticals very quickly. You must have a solid plan before starting out, especially when you are burning cash. Observed some concerning issues at Unacademy that affect work environment and overall morale. One of the main concerns is the delayed salary payments. We are asked to teach in other branches as well, but they don't even provide travelling expenses. We, Educators, are referred to as 'Service Providers' instead of Employees. There isno yearly increment policy. No encashment of casual leaves. In a nutshell, there are no employee benefits for the Educators. There appears to be a tendency to hire individuals who are close relatives of those in senior positions. I found some Educators those who even don't properly teach the lesson and unable to write spellings as well. These Educators are supported a lot as they are very much obedient to those who are so called Seniors. Moreover the workplace politics are very high and it often feels like a toxic environment. It's disheartening to see colleagues being mocked, or talked about negatively behind their backs. Such behaviour undermines teamwork and respect among employees. it gives subscription of its course without any cost for limited period apart this nothing is exciting or likeable there.
1. Hiring at TPA roles because there is injustice with them a. No casual and sick leaves are there for them and bereavement leaves are not there. b.
