Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? To whoever is reading this, please do not consider this to be a rant! This company is terrible. Please look to work someplace else. Don't get lured by the decent salary package. They (the founders) will be breathing down your neck constantly.. Nobody is happy here. All are counting days and are looking to exit. As I said, there is everything to dislike about this company. Constant micro management will take a toll on your mental peace. They would be willing to track every second of your time if they could. The projects are terrible (mostly meaningless frontend changes).
