A good place to kick start your career. You would get to learn a lot of new things and would acquire a lot of skills. Their training is pretty good and you can easily pick up even if you are coming from a background with no experience.
Dislikes
I couldn't tolerate the internal politics. They are very biased. They would never let you grow if you express your opinion and interests openly. This is the Bengaluru newsroom.. Who you know is more important than what you know, which is absolutely unfair because your skill, knowledge & the ability to get the work done matters and not who you socialize with. Unfortunately Bangalore newsroom of Reuters doesn't work that way and disappointed me during my last phase there. I still remember my last day there because my team leader sent a very brief farewell email which was just for the sake of sending it while every other employee who had left the company and who belonged to other teams had got decent farewell emails. That shows how much biased the management is and they would screw you up to the extent that you would lose your self confidence.I quit without a job offer. But after 2 months, I got an offer from their competitor....Read More
