Zomato use to be known for its working culture and its positive yet aggressive growing environment. There use to be alot of healthy competition going across and there use to be alot of positive energy and hustle in the way we work in Zomato. Everyone carried their own style of working and we ended up doing crazy stuff brainstorming on campaign level activities. The whole place is messed up. Heavy politics involved where there is a group of leadsership people choosing people they wish and do things they like yet pretend like they're nice while you already know this place is full of people pleasing to get on top. Such a Toxic environment one could not survice. This is a great company if you dont like licking peoples feet.

A very dynamic organisation in terms of the market. Great work life balance, although you might need to work on festivals. Good scope for starting off a career and people can grow a lot if they fit in the culture. Managers are great.

Dislikes

Too much talk of culture, sometimes it is abused. Bad apples. Slow on tech adaptability, for such a large organisation you would think they have organised their data and processes well. Long way to go! People can chill, as there are more people than needed.

Bad work culture ( morning 10:00 am you have to come and leaving around average 9:00 pm) if you leave around 6:00 pm then you have to message on slack and tell the team that I’m leaving early for some personal work. 2. They expecting that you have to work on weekend. 3. I Love everything about Zomato. One should work in Zomato,I worked her for 6 years I felt Zomato is my home. It's great experience.

They don't retain. If you want to leave just leave, HR won't ask your problem why you want to leave. They are bit laid back.
