Safety culture is good and encourage towards safety, reward to employee for saying no to unsafe act. Safety standards fallowing to all. Here CSMS System existing and mandatory to all vendors.

The pay structure is still good for freshers and employee related benefits are good. However, i have worked only in Tata Steel and hence not aware about the benefits which other companies provide.

After Ratan Tata's demise Tata Steel is the worst place for engineers. *All perks seized, leaves are half now. No meal is subsidized. *You have to works for days without off, leave. Even tea and water is payable. *Increament is like peanuts and forget about promotion. *Even if you survive a safety or code of conduct case will be issue to prove you are the slave.

The company culture is opposite of what everyone thinks. There is way too much Sir culture and the performance appraisal depends on how well your relation is with your reporting manager, not on your performance.

Bribery is prospering under the hood of transparency. However survey results are manipulated to get award for Employer of Choice.
