After the demise of Ratan Tata, Tata Steel is no longer a place to work anymore. The Stupid HR policy, Forced Retirements, reduced number of leaves are the new normal. The only good part was the OPD medical facility which be discontinued from April onwards as well.

Tata culture is being destroyed day by day strategically, don't know what is the game and who are all behind this. But morale is all time low in employees all around the disciplines and corners. HR policy is getting worst, third class ideas are being implemented to cut employee perks and comfort just to save some penny.
Worst HR culture, Boss culture, Buttering all around. Hard workers are not getting rewarded generally. List is very long. Now, they don't need quality in people, they want only cheap labour.

Tata Steel is a great place for Learning New Initiatives but of late the culture of Employee Friendliness is becoming adverse.
Promotions are very few and there are only 3 Promotions from a Management Trainee to GM (General Manager)/Chief. People have to spend in a level for years before getting promoted. Of late Employee Friendliness and job security is getting worse. Anyone joining Tata Steel should always be on lookout for new jobs also since there is no job security anymore.
