No tension of production loss as everyone talks of safety only. Production may be there or not no one will ask. Most of work on contract .

Dislikes

All work on contract without any check,high level corruption. Purchase also put on contract. Transport deptt abolished all outside vehicles. If Staff is not worried about organisation, company in coming years goes in loss and forcible termination starts .Only name TATA .

After Ratan Tata's demise Tata Steel is the worst place for engineers. *All perks seized, leaves are half now. No meal is subsidized. *You have to works for days without off, leave. Even tea and water is payable. *Increament is like peanuts and forget about promotion. *Even if you survive a safety or code of conduct case will be issue to prove you are the slave.

The company culture is opposite of what everyone thinks. There is way too much Sir culture and the performance appraisal depends on how well your relation is with your reporting manager, not on your performance.

Culture has worsened like anything. Appraisal is based on oiling, not dedication. Inefficient and ineffective people are promoted to higher positions. Work systems are getting complicated day by day. Bribery is prospering under the hood of transparency. However survey results are manipulated to get award for Employer of Choice.
