It is company which is contributing in country growth especially in defence sector, Mr. Ratan Tata is the man of century, I proud to be employee of his company but some corrupted employees have damaged badly the working environment of the company in Tata Steel Meramandali

Favouritism, Regional and Religional feelings of chiefs and HOD s is not good act which is actually happening in Tata Steel Meramandali. Contractor are not doing best but forcing to give higher KPI by HODs and chiefs is not a good act and if anyone deny to follow unlawful act then they downgrade their early KPI rating knowingly, People are helpless to follow their wrong instructions. HOD s and Chiefs should sign the KPI of contractors. Field observation is almost negligible and only for compliance purpose and only for photography purpose is going on by Chiefs and HODs. They prefer to give good KPI rating those who are doing or fulfilling their personal/ issues also. All those things are not good things and happening in Tata Steel Meramandali....Read More

Good work environment and culture teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling company polices are good appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues salary is decent but career growth is slow there is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

Work Details

The job is quite interesting I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job.i got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team
