Most of the people are good and most of them are sailing in the same boat. Most of the lateral entries are very professional from what they have done in past.

Dislikes

As a good product company, the first thing that comes to my mind is the core values and the culture. There is no cultural events, family events , team building events considering it’s a world class product company which compares themselves with Amazons and FlipKarts. Although there are multiple branches , you have to be in Mumbai headquarters if you have to rise, no transparency. If you fell ill also , your boss will call up and ask for work status, without even asking how you are. This could seriously have been a great place to work, but unfortunately because of bunch of people every career is at stake. It’s not a bad product, but these few folks have drowned it deep. Everything is centralised, and unfortunately the center itself is the culprit. With so many heads , the organization is a very very top heavy place with no defined organization structure. Great minds have come from great organizations just to sit without work. Had there an open culture, I would have not come here and given the feedback. Instead would have sorted out internally. Job security due to Tata brand. Nothing more positive about this. Most of the people are just for Tata brand. HR and senior management will boast a lot about company during interview process, but once you join you will realise they have no clue of what they are doing.

- Yes boss culture - No vision - Less salary compared to market - long hierarchy - No sync between tech and product. After CTO left, company is clueless. Changing tech stack every month.
