This company is rushing towards its own doom. Haphazardly buying companies that have products that compete with its own home grown brands Massive discounts over alternate channels will make GT channel obsolete in bigger towns. Company has a tendency to infiltrate its own distributor market by opening sub distributors in the existingdistributor's market Management tends to make each and every thing a "matter of survival". Daily torturing from asm,Rsm. 100s of parameter which is never achievable by anyone. Your mental health will get disturbed and in the end you resign even they wont leave you,they will hold ta,da and torture you by saying f&f,hr is worst here they dont even care about employees,

Promotion policy very poor , increment policy very poor , target without logic , company giving high discount in modern trade/online e commerce trade and want 100% target achievement from GT on very low discount budget , management talk in air not having ground knowledge only having paper knowledge, management don't have any solution on infiltration, meeting time management very poor

Good Regional Sales Teams

Clueless top management who will only try and get things done by intimidation. Bunch of jokers with no idea how to grow the business are in various leadership positions. Low paid CEO for a reason without any FMCG sales or marketing experience. Ops person trying to run everything without even a marketing head this is what you get. Sales D who is a numbers guy who has never even been a regional sales head , let alone an asm before. The CEO has hired a bunch of yes men to head various other depts who are at best incompetent, worst case borderline maniacs who have no control over systems and processes and will neither give the correct picture nor do anything to correct the system. The company has overpaid for recent acquisitions, at their wits end cause they won't scale and pressurising the entire system to deliver when even they don't know how. If possible they would just ship the month/year worth of stock to the distributor and declare the year a wild success. Trying to run regional business as if it were a plain vanilla central business with a one size fits all approach because no one has the understanding of basic business. Intimidation replaced knowledge a long while back. I hear there are actual weekly firing threats and calls to the sales teams. Most of the good sales leaders have left. The rest are all looking out to be rid of this hellhole of a working place. Max number of CVs floating right now are of tata consumer folks.Toxic work environment. No work life balance as humans have to compensate for system errors and inefficiencies. In market hours are tracked. Every week some dept will start sharing a new tracker to track one more aspect of the business. Travel expenses will get you show cause notices for small inconsistencies with zero clarifications requested. No root cause analysis, no work being done to correct biggest problems in the business. Distributors have stopped taking up the business out of disgust for company policy with least regard for business partners. Forget Ratan Tata when you enter the company, they didn't even respect his demise with a day off of any sign of respect to the founder....Read More
