As a first job, Sulzer has left a lasting experience. The company provides emense opportunities to everyone, the choice is upto those who want to grab a few of those. I was lucky enough to be a part of the team to get a global exposure on business as well as the operational process. The company culture nice, with HR organizing cultural/sports events every year, although not being very creative about it, but yes it was a good time....Read More

Dislikes

The only disadvantage was the proximity to the city, the tracvelling time was significantly higher, sometimes almost 3-3.5 hours a day.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
