Less pressure compared to most other competitors. Co-workers can be a mixed bag. There are some a-holes, like in all Indian companies, but others are quite friendly. You'll experience more of the latter here, thankfully.

Absolutely no scope of promotions, or even a proper pay raise. The payouts are just abysmal; you can only buy some peanuts with that money. Work-life balance can be non-existent, depending on your department and workload. Payment is always never on time, so expect to wait until the middle of the month.

Most unprofessional place I've worked out in 10 years of content writing with dozens of sports outlets. You must be on call all day waiting for assignments. Sometimes you'll get them back to back. Other times they'll ghost you for five hours and expect you to do all your work in final three hours or be on clock extra long Content managers assign topic and give you their tips. You'll do that and get the editor telling you that was wrong and to do the opposite of what content manager told you. One of the managers called the entire writing staff lazy and claimed he saw people work harder in tropical storm conditions. They have flexible hours and you can write as much or as little as you want. The managers are more than understanding and leaves are approved pretty easily.

The pay is stagnant and hasn’t increased in over 2 years. There is very little option of upward mobility if any and there is no chance of making this a stable job.

Everything. This is my second tenure with Sportskeeda, and this company is by far the best for sports journalists to work at. Everything at SK seems well structured. The pay is better than most other websites, and the timings are also friendly. A key thing that makes this organisation so beautiful are the seniors. The best company I've worked so far with people having elite tastes when it comes to games, movies and pop culture in general. The freedom to work anytime you like provided you finish whatever tasks you picked up for the day, and the fact that the team leads and seniors are not at your throat for taking a couple of days off are two solid reasons that makes this company great.
