Company culture all over is average, whereas the HR pokes her nose in every department except hers and due to this the culture gets toxic. Because of the HR, people are disappointed, no increase of salary(as said and promised while hiring a candidate) on time and so on. The team works for Global audience and still they manage to grow the business with their dedication and collaborative work at a rapid speed. The business is constantly expanding and so do its team members. I have never witnessed any organisation providing you with Probationary raise right after 3-6 months of joining and continuous growth which I am pretty sure must be very high according to the industry as I have witnessed 30-120% hike in my tenure with organisation. The company fosters the culture of accountability and responsibility, and if by multiple follow ups has been taken, they will give you quick review and time to perform and will take actions accordingly. And I personally feel this way more transparent as the team managers those who are responsible for the business growth give fair chance to the people those who actually wants to work rather than sinking the entire team productivity. If you're thinking about joining Spescscart, this review would definitely help you in making the informed decision. The family owned & controlled startup company has a lot of problem, like sudden changes in policies, making fake promises at the time of hiring, and having a toxic work culture. Managers, especially the HR Head micromanages a lot. HR Head would poke her nose in every domain while having the knowledge of none. Few self proclaimed managers simply try to please HR Head and the CEO, to gain unfair advantages. Most of the 5 star reviews you see are fake, written by the HR Head herself and all the negative reviews gets down voted by the SEO team in efforts to take them down. When there's a problem, instead of showing faith, company abandons their employees - they just hire new people instead. Even when they hire new folks(maybe you, if you are thinking or have have recently joined Specscart), the company would not allow them to bring the creativity on the table. The whole HR Team would be sweet to you at first and later might fire you without any proper reason. Often you will receive your paycheck at the middle of the next month from different accounts with no salary slips. The Managers have the power to make or break any policy according to their own liking. My time at the previous company was a distressing nightmare due to its toxic work culture and the overbearing presence of the HR "overlord." The HR's micromanagement stifled any sense of autonomy, making it difficult to be productive or innovative. Appraisals were non-existent unless you resorted to showing them another job offer from different company. It seemed that the only way to receive any recognition or appreciation for your work was by leveraging an external opportunity. This practice created an unhealthy atmosphere, where employees were constantly on the lookout for other job options, as they knew their worth would not be acknowledged internally. Moreover, the HR department had a perplexing hiring strategy, where they would hire 2-3 new people for each department every month. Some of these new hires joins and 95% of them left within 1 week, contributing to an unstable and inconsistent work environment. To make matters worse they failed to provide proper salary slips. This lack of documentation caused numerous problems, especially in official matters such as obtaining loans or dealing with any government-related work. When employees asked for salary slips, they were met with a barrage of questions and neglect of their urgency, creating unnecessary stress and financial difficulties. The company's control over employees extended to their breaks as well. They did not allow any breaks between the whole workday, leaving us mentally and physically drained, they even dictated with who we would eat our lunch, further diminishing any sense of independence. Adding to the chaos, the HR "overlord" frequently and inexplicably shifted our seating arrangements every new day, without any reasonable explanation. There is the inner circle of 4-5 people (headed by HR) and if someone didn't butter up the inner circle they would make that individual's life miserable, leading them to resign without giving any compensation or prior notice. Moreover, they would unjustly terminate the employee from that very day, leaving them without any support or recourse. Creativity was not encouraged and any attempt to introduce new ideas was met with apathy or rejection. The negative impact of this dreadful work environment was profound, resulting in high turnover and low productivity among the staff. In conclusion, I strongly caution prospective employees to beware of this company's unhealthy work environment. The toxic culture, lack of appraisals, the lack of proper documentation, and the extreme control over breaks and seating arrangements all create an atmosphere where creativity and individuality are stifled. Moreover, the unjust treatment of those who don't comply with the HR leads to a sense of being undervalued and unsupported, with little recourse for fairness. If you really want to work in this organisation better leave your brain at home as the people working here doesn't have "intelligence". My time at Specscart went by analysing how people of 21st century could behave like some 12th century archaic culture followers. Super shady! The management has lost all the sense of how to run anorganisation and started a political party there coz that's the only thing they could actually do in that zero future place that is "play 🌟politics". Let me be brutally honest, the company stands no future if they keep ignoring their employees' needs and keep listening to the people in the management who are actually harming the organisation with their blind ego and hunger for power. The organisation has been brutally harassing, bullying and torturing its employees since day one and some very senior members who forces themselves to be a part of the company with zero knowledge of the work system, doesn't stand behind in passing sexist and clasist slurs. It feel awful to see the HR being so ego driven that they are ready to hurt people at any cost. The company doesn't even feel authentic, people from UK are unaware of the harassment at the workplace. The hope has left this place trust, because your team will be run by HR who has zero knowledge of nit just your field but also their own and still be poking her nose everywhere and says utterly nonsensical things that will make you feel pity for her, I'm sorry but it's true, trying way to hard to be relevant but sadly everybody knows how illogical they sound. The very first member of the organisation tries hard to know everything and plays behind the curtains, sorry to say you are so not authentic, please learn to have your own opinion and don't be blinded by these politics.
