Job security and work life balance good

Good work environment & team support. Guidance from seniors are very good specially at the time of joining. One can learn and gain good experience here. One can play multiple roles in the job. Office space and compounds are very neat all the time. Separate pantries are provided for each wing in each floor. Medical insurance and basic allowances are included in the salary. Yearly training is mandatory and we have an academy specially for it. Its not very strict to be seated in front of computer 9hrs a day, but work has to be completed on time. There was no good support from the company during lockdown. They sent email stated salary deduction if a certain percentage due to the crisis and reduced many times more than that without notice for a month. Work from home was allowed for about 2 months with basic salary, later that was cancelled. We were asked to come to office and work if we need salary or were considered on furlough. No flexible timing. Projects with unacceptable deadline are poured on to us. Though we learn a lot, they never pay due credits to the hard work we do to get it completed. We are forced to attend office calls even at odd hours of the day and weekends, work life balance may get into a mess. More than 2 days of holiday are not allowed without special permission. For sick leaves more than 2 days doctors certificate is a must. Salary scale is slightly lower than the market. Apparaisals and hike are never yearly, they pay when they feel like. Overall experience in Sobha is good. Great company to start and gain experience. One will get opportunities to wear multiple hats and learn about different roles in the job. You will have to put in a lot of effort but what you get back would be worth it.
