Likes

Mostly the team and the support from the management towards the team. I joined as a fresher and it proved to be an ideal platform for me to not only express myself and sharpen my skills but also learn a lot of new things. People were always willing to teach or help me with things I did not know. It was more of a family atmosphere than a workplace one.

Dislikes

Nothing much to dislike. My job as a BDE involved a lot of travel and though I didn't mind it, other people might find that taxing.

I found my job extremely exciting as I got to meet with various kinds of people from local small-scale industry proprietors to top officials(Indian as well as foreigners) in MNC's. The interactions with all kinds of people were a rich experience.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

The job is quite interesting.I struggled a but in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job.I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team
