Had the worst appraisal. During recruitment, they promised a minimum 10% hike in 6 months since I wasn’t satisfied with the initial offer. After 6 months, the senior HR claimed there was a communication error and said they don’t offer hikes at that time but would handle it in the yearly cycle. I ended up getting just a 5% raise. Lesson: Don’t trust recruiters or HR. Always ask for the salary you want upfront without bargaining....Read More
