HR team is very supportive and colleagues are also supportive. Work environment is positive.

Dislikes

In terms of career there is limited growth.and on sites rules are managed by the manager. And the manager in heavy weight does't have any manners and even he used abusive language. That is not expected. He calls on Sunday too and in working hours there is not any time fix time for work.

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. I believe it's crucial for the management to ensure that all employees are treated equally, regardless of their tenure with the company. while they have many dedicated employees who have been working for 10-15 years, it's concerning to see some individuals taking their positions for granted, leading to a lack of accountability in their work. This situation not only affects the team morale but also impacts overall productivity. I urge management to address this issue and implement measures that promote fairness and accountability across all levels of the organization. Nothing is there to like about the company just that they don’t terminate you even if your performance is very low or even if you have some misconduct they will not terminate you.

I worked as a safety officer so my work was based of from site but whenever i have visited the main head office in Worli they have made me feel worst. I left this company and even on the day i got to collect my FnF they treated me badly and HR just gave me my FnF and left the room.
