Working with Siemens was great experience. They use lastest technology in project. I have learnt a lot through out journey in Siemens. It helped me to grow professionally and personally. Most of lead and managers are helpful and down to earth in nature. It was great to be part of SIEMENS

Appreciation is rear thing in Siemens. Salary hike is too low.

Job security. No competition

Dislikes

Extreme favouritism. Too many back door entries and incompetent folks at the top positions. HR is a manager's puppet. Promotions are given only to the ones closer to the manager irrespective of one's skills and contribution. Absolutely no respect for one's talent and you cannot question the status quo. Good people leave and masuers remain.

Everything. i lost my mind and peace while working here. i had lot of sleepless nights and finally took a decision to quit this company. At first u will feel that this company is the best place to work and all but later on the real face will come out. So be aware!!!!

If you are coming from a industrial automation domain background to domain testing then there is no much skill development here. 10 years experience person is working on the same thing where 2 years experience person is working. If you are done with your domain experience and now just want to settle down by doing 9-5 job with normaltesting work then this is a job for you. But you are looking for a challenges in your work and want to grow professionally then this is not a place for you. For testing also they are not even using agile environment. Good company with good work life balance. No seniority here, all are treated equal with respect. No pressure in work. Good salary .

Cant learn anything from scratch. Scope of learning or working in new technology is very less.

Friendly environment, good bonuses , excellent benifits. Managers are understanding. Permanent Wfh for ladies in genuine need.

No casual leaves. North Indian festivals not celebrated like Holi, diwali, ganesh chaturthi, lori,etc. Bonuses paid will be recovered if you leave within 2 years. Only Rs 3 lacs health insurance cover. Advanta services in particular does not has job security but they will try to retain internally if client backs off. Salary package is average not competitive with respect to maket.

I liked the management and other fun activities apart from work. Good work life balance. Job security in excellent here, other benefits related to leaves and flexibility in working from home. Appraisal are quite less sometimes, u can say like 7-9%, That also depends upon your client and the team u work in. Seniors in this company are useless, Surviving here from 15-20 years without any knowledge, only thing they know is micro-management for cost cutting and to irritate employees personally to survive and to have their impression in one or ther other way and they'll hire people just to show count and remove them remove them or extend their probation without any reason i have seen around 15-20 members faced same issue they were helpless and crying back the stage just to save their job. i have also seen managers back beaches on each other and on employees personal life. considering all this points i say that this company (Siemens - GBS ) is useless and not having a good culture and environment for work. especially for those who come here for their career growth....Read More

Nothing, they will start micro managing each employee, if you try to balance your work load. Yeah but if you will work like a donkey even on weekends and won't say no then only you will be eligible for an average appraisal after 1.5 years, yes u heard it right. They have stupid policies to give appraisal only to joinees who joined before April, otherwise you will have to wait for 1 and a half year to get a appraisal and that too of 5 to 8 percent....Read More
