1. Wonderful working culture which clearly signifies unity and diversity 2. Keeping merchant needs on top of the priority list but only for Mid-market accounts, however SMB merchants are struggling with tech and operational issues and I do not see any concrete step being taken by Shipbob. 3. 1. Working remotely requires extra efforts to maintain the pace of learning and growth 2. Despite lot of efforts, contributions and my involvement in various activities in addition to my regular responsibilities, my growth was overlooked and I had to open a dialogue with the management to convey the importance of my objectives. However, I am happy that our wonderful leadership has respected my career goals and feelings behind the same. 3. Working remotely has slowed down my professional development in comparison to my colleagues in United States. 4. I initially intended to stay with Shipbob for a minimum of five years. however, I need more support from the management to justify this intention of mine. 5. SMB segment has experienced a significant decrease in performance, compared to mid-market accounts, particularly when it comes to maximizing the use of innovative solutions. One of the things I liked most about working at ShipBob was the remote working model.

Dislikes

One area where ShipBob could improve is the training and skill development provided to employees. The initial training felt inadequate, leaving employees to figure out many processes on their own. Additionally, there were limited opportunities for continuous learning and career growth. Office politics also seemed to play a role in decision-making and career progression, which sometimes created an unfair work environment. Work culture is excellent including the permanent remote work. Besides, 1:1s, leadership meetings are amazing that keep us updated with the Shipbob things.

Dislikes

Promotions and appraisals have become too difficult. - Among all Indian departments, Shipbob pays least salary to Success Ops B2B and Merchant success which are the core guys who drive their business. Whereas CT, Finance and accounts are paid well! - Shipbob hasn't revised it's WFH/internet allowance since 6 years. They are still paying 4000 a quarter for internet, electricity, power backup and other auxiliary charges that are faced from working from home....Read More
