Work-life balance, nobody will call you post-working hours. Sat/Sun is off and one can maintain a balance between personal and professional lives. Salary depends on the role, incentives are provided.

Office politics, definitely. There are some people who make the environment toxic but keeping that aside, Shiksha.com has no other problems. Learning will be slow.

The work life balance is not there , its very tedious and stressful . They expect continuously working without breaks or very little breaks. High expectation are set which is nearly impossible for any freshers who joins. Initially speed and accuracy cant match , it takes times and comparison doesn't be done with old employees. Only good thing is..its under Info edge...so company policies are good. Pf, on time salary, work related resources etc are fine.

No work life balance, its a sales company...all time asking for sales numbers but management will never help you to give solution. New person will always suffer for leads, support. Will be given old, scrapped leads and will get pressure to get result out of it. Management is blind when it comes to help you but wants result from you.6 months probation but management have extended it for more than a year for many employees also stopped increments. I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
