Vision of senior QA manager is very great. His mindset will always be aligned towards individual growth of each qa member and the QA team. So if you understand what he is trying to convey on long term you will grow (or atleast learn how an organisation works) very quickly. Work life balance is good and more ownership is given to senior peoples in terms of decision making.

Product managers are toxic. Most of the iOS team got fired (both dev and qa) was because of poor product managers (they always gave importance to Android team). Even Grooming sessions was happening only to the Android team. Pod lead of QA SC consumer experience is again toxic. From day 1 of his joining, he works only for promotion (basically talking. You could not find him performing any feature testing or providing support to the team in terms of testing). This guy is from somewhere around Andra Pradesh (i guess) and he always talks in Hindi during meetings (so many people told him to speak in English directly and indirectly many times) and also updates messages in slack channels in Hindi only. People who don't understand Hindi was very struggling because of few guys like him. He projected the work of his juniorQA (Who later got into a developer role in different company) as his own work very openly without any hesitation to get his name into newsletter. SC iOS consumer experience was handled totally by a different guy but he projected that he was leading the team of iOS as well during alignment process. There are many incidents like this. Toxic work culture. Ridiculous management. No hike, No promotion. Full of favouritism. Managers are doing monopoly. Only favourites and shoe lickers were promoted and saved during lay off. There was one manager who was handling team very well. But suddenly a senior manager came and destroyed everything. He targeted few senior employees who were fearless, dedicated during work. One senior QA was very friendly with us. He was having lot of personal issues but still was giving his best in work. But he also got laid off along with manager without any promotion. Manager was asking us about us complaint about him so that he could stop his promotion and hike. It was so cheap in a well established company. Other few senior QAs were also so good. But manager started targeting them and pushed his personal favourites who were average in work. As a result, good people were kicked out, few resigned and few left through lay off. No HRs did any investigation. Even I got laid off just because he wanted to keep a contractual girl in the project. After observing the downfall of the team with in 2 years, I must say that this company is not good for QAs. They have use and throw policy. So please dont join this company for the sake of salary hike. they will destroy your career....Read More

Used to be a place where there was a lot of opportunity to learn and grow professionally, around great people. Creativity and innovation was encourage and supported, and exposure was brilliant. Work-life balance was real and team members worked cohesively. (Keyword is ‘WAS’)

Everything in the current state. - 0 job security. Layoffs almost every 2 months - Appraisal cycle is rigged. The appraisal process is unfair and there is no transparency. - There is no opportunity to grow with the organisation anymore. Unless you can bootlick the right people. - There is barely any opportunity to learn or be creative or innovative because brands and partners don’t want to associate themselves as much with ShareChat Moj anymore. - Your work will go unnoticed. - Work culture has gone to the dogs. It’s a tense atmosphere because anybody can get fired anytime. It’s toxic and tense. - Only sales people are relevant right now. It was great company with great culture but they needed a better strategy and financial management before hiring in bulk. Because I was doing great as it was my first corporate job, also I got many appraisals and a promotion in less than 2 years but still they laid me off without any prior notice or anything

Job insecurity - They laid off twice in a year. 700employees in Jan 2023 & 300in Dec 2023. Promotions are given but increment in package was not done properly. Changed Policy without proper information to employees. CEO is a big time liar. Doesn't care about employees. Upper Mgt. Is inefficient they don't have knowledge how to run acompany.
