There is nothing good in this company. It appears good when you just join the company. Then the management shows their true colors to you

Dislikes

The company forces a bond of 3 years on freshers which is illegal in India. Then if you notice the company hires freshers from 3 Tier colleges and lures them with a 5 LPA (with 3 years bond and if you break it give them 2 Lakh rupees)package with the promise of a bi-annual increase. This so-called product company has only outdated technology and bad management. They are at a complete loss and management has gone down to firing employees and micro-managing existing employees. The HR and talent acquisition never post any opening for 2-3 years of experience. You would have already guessed why. They passively threaten the freshers that if they break the bond and do not give money then they will not give experience and relieving letter. Once you join here as a fresher you are stuck for a minimum of 3 years and experience only in an outdated tech stack. I joined here as a fresher and then within a few months they increased the notice period from 2 months to 3 months. Here there is so much politics and favoritism. You cannot work in peace. There is no bonus here no matter how much you work. I resigned from here 3 months before my bond was getting over. During my notice period, they made it difficult for me to work and passively threatened me to give money or they would not give my experience letter (FYI:- there was no training provided in the probation period only a few docs available on the internet were given to do self-learning. The company holds my three months' salary without any prior information and then if you request early release they will large penalty amount from you</mark>. These companies should be banned from India. They are so cheap that they even asked for laptop bags on LWD. My entire journey has been hell. Great work life balance and company culture is nice. Hard work is appreciated with rewards and recognition. Fair salary hikes based on your performance. Management is very good. Meaningful work on very big project in banking and finance domain. Job security

Dislikes

Not much opportunities to learn technologies and tech stack is fairly older. Due to lack of technical documentation learning curve is steep for new joiners. Less number of leaves.

Job is challenging and you need to learn most of things yourself. Work satisfaction is there and not much pressure on employees. Easy to manage work life balance. You will get exposure to very big and complex project in banking and finance domain.

The salary which you get monthly which has no delay ever, even in covid duration and also when there was the ransomwar cyber attack in Oct 2020.

In 2021 Feb, I worked in the Pune office located at SB Road. The infrastructure is not at all upto expectations. The pantry is gross and the good provider is just a local guy with terrible hygiene habits. The building has a a hazardous elevator which you have to use at your own risk. I worked on a desktop with 8GB RAM for almost 1.5-2yrs wherein others had their toys of choice. Never got a VM to work upon which is a necessity in SBSI without which you can't breathe. They use SVN, JSPX, JSP, XML, Spring Web Flow, Maven, Intellij, Tomcat, React, Redux, Java, Jira. There's a huge partial play between Pune and Noida wherein Noida is always favoured since it's the old acquisition and Pune is a new one. I'd say if ur ready to gamble your lattest cutting edge tools, technologies and all ur sharpened skillset for money then u can surely join this org. As a Backend developer, if you work on a new task/enhancement there should always be a new feature branch where a dev. can work with all the freedom he requires but that's not the case here which is surprisingly insane as per the industry standards. There's a single product named Cassiopae which is being built using above mentioned technologies and which is super legacy wherein they have their own custom framework which you cannot modify. The processes followed are not employee/developer friendly. I didn't understand one thing, if you have purchased a licensed of JIRA and if it's highly customisable, inspite of that we have to attach additional Excell Sheets like Time consumed for a Bug(JiRA), code review excell sheet, the required time estimate excell sheet. Almost like a data entry job here which is naive. I won't take names, but the people with huge experiences and dependency are certainly rude, unhelpful and unsupportive at critical & crucial times of work. Terrible. Working 12-16 hours to reach deadlines isn't pleasant always. Communication & collaboration with senior experienced employees who have spent a huge time in this org. is difficult due to the dependency one has created.

Fortunately got work from home due to COVID after the legal authorities marched in and forced people to leave the office in the initial dangerous days of covid-19 in (march-2020). Yes and no headphones for official work either. You need to buy them urself for office use.
