Dynamic environment. Always something new to learn.

It's a buddy-buddy system. Loads of nepotism. Salary is not worth being overloaded with work. Lots of politics and people with bad/entitled attitudes.

With sasol development is slowly, and especially with those who are in working in engineering department compared to mining.

Only those who are sasol financed graduates are highly recognized and developed to higher levels compared to those who had personal funds to study.

The Project work is extremely good. I was seconded to Sasol from Worley. Sasol postponed the Project because of Covid-19 and sent my back to Worley. Worley immediately retrenched me!

Dislikes

I really enjoy working for Sasol. Unfortunately, their current financial constraints result in much of the project work being suspended.
