Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Terrible company. Not at all ethical, after being an employee for years my last 6 months pay was docked. I was not paid my dues and I kept hoping they will release it, they dragged me for 6 months like this. When I realized I was not going to be paid I finally had to leave. This was done with several employees
