a system engineer

New Job Anxiety?

Hey all I recently got an offer from a company as it offered me a 60-70 % hike over my current company which was about to secure a job. I am having 3 years of experience in SAP BW domain and mostly and in this I have worked for 1.6 years in BW support and that too in night shifts where there is not much work. I started preparing interviews and cleared them and now got an offer and I put my notice and my last working day was next week. Now coming to the main part even though I'm good about most part having less real time experience and exposure is freaking me out and what will be the new company expectations and I decided to work hard to learn all the details it's just the hands on I'm not sure. With in mean time I'll be preparing in that company I mean once I join should I need to tell my lead or manager that this is at where am I and should I just bluff them as i know everything. Any suggestions please...the joining date is around the corner which gives me more anxiety

Salary is on time this is the only good thing. There are countless bad things in this SK international.

1. SK International is only name, it has nothing to do with INTERNATIONAL 2. Managers and team leaders play corporate politics 3. Most toxic manager is "Mohini Bharti", Not even give proper travel expenses 4. Never listen to employee, Have to perform other vendor's task because my manager says it 5. job is secured. work culture is average. management is ok. cant say much about company policies as it is very poor and not a good place for a fresher.

Dislikes

This place is only good for people who are good in coding like oracle, java etc. Not sure about the windows and network support as i haven't work with them. Also three months of NP is a huge issue as it is not negotiable. We can loose many job opportunities just because of the NP. Working as a TECH SUPPORT will leave you with very less opportunities of job as the exposure is not much. Salary increment is only good for people in coding team and not for the application team (technical support engineer). Not a good place to start working as a fresher until and unless you know coding....Read More
