Likes

Had a team that was hard working with the upper grades but a few worked hard with the lower grades. Had inhouse trainings but helpful. Few opportunities for career growth. Salary is poor and no appraisal at all as the government cannot affrors to look at these. Would travel with chikdren on trips. As civil servants I am not involvedin politics. Had self motivation to go an extra mile every time. Did the school projects for the school which include gardening, layers rearing, led the quiz club and the school choir, member of the fundraising committee....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
