You will only gain valuable exposure to govt. operations and able to access real projects records, data, other important information. Timings : Mon to Fri (For Office Posting) & Mon to Sat (For Site Posting) Stipend: Btech/BE (14,000), Diploma (12,000), ITI (10,000), Others departments (8,000 to 10,000) Note: Not all but mostly -- staff members are friendly and sometimes (not always) helpful.

Note: If you receive any other opportunity, take it instead of this apprenticeship, based on a few important points from my experience. 1. At the end of the day, it feels like a complete waste of time. 2. Nobody cares weather you learn something or not because there are no clear guidelines in RITES for apprenticeship learning program. 3. If your supervisor is idiot, prepare for a difficult experience, because they may treat you like a cheap labor and often assign you with very low level tasks like numbering pages, photocopying a documents, bringing print out for them, and putting records in almirahs. 4. Some supervisor treat there apprentice like a errand boys. 5. You will always get your stipend very late mostly on 2nd or 3rd week of the month and sometime even at the end of the month. 6. There is no guaranteed job opportunity at Rites after completing the apprenticeship program. Few Tips: 1. Work smart not hard [Never say yes to everything and everyone because other office staff will also use you as there cheap labor.] 2. Try to talk other staff also, to learn from them and they will definitely help you. 3. If you joined this program and want to leave you can do so without any problem, but i will suggest you all that if you guys wants to leave this program then leave within 3-4 months because even if you worked for 10-11 months and leave, you won't getting any certificate or experience letter from the company. It's better sooner than later. 4. Note: Once you join an apprenticeship program with any organization even for 1 day, you will not able to work with any other organization for the rest of your life, as this program can only be undertaken once in a lifetime. 5. Real Learning & Extra Earning :p (if you know what i mean) option is on site duty and in office duty you will mostly waste your time, money and energy. (Note: Office Posting & Site Posting is not in your hands.) 6. Stipend k liye agr join kr rahe ho to mt krna kyuki jitna stipend milta hai us se jada apna hi lgta hai paisa (For example : mere time ek ladka dusre state se aaya tha bs ye apprenticeship krne k liye to uska food, pg, water bill, Electricity bill , travelling sub mila kr 20-25k lg jata tha.) 7. After reading this, if you guys still want to do this apprenticeship program then do it at your own risk and try to utilize your free time in meaningful thing.
