Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Overall work culture is very good, as their product ( open source based) org also open to listen employees opinion and work on them. I rate RH as one of the best company to work.

There are very few managers ( generally you find much more in other org) in RH who have biased approaches which harm the progress of any individual in company, if you are reporting to them and not in their good books.
