Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? U guys will have holidays as parallel to students(but not summer ones) u can learn from ur senior faculty and u guys can enjoy the company of ur students..and u can have sem invigilation payment..

The egos between faculty was irritating and u wont get appreciation for ur work instead few persons will take ur credit as their...u wont get hikes easily for that u have to wait for more and more until u make admissions.
