The school is situated in a beautiful, peaceful emirate. Beautiful sea views and mountain views abound. The school itself has some wonderful teachers who struggle to provide good education to their student despite pressure from the top to allow chaos to reign.

Experienced teachers who had been there for years were all "grandfathered off", a stupid term that basically means that the school would drop your salary if you re-signed with them. Teachers left in droves taking their experience with them. In their place, hundreds of inexperienced, young teachers were joining with the promise that they were going to change the academy. The new teachers have no desire to settle and grow within the academy and would rather spend nights in bars and arrive the next day with hangovers. Cat fights between teachers, backstabbing, outbursts of tears and personal differences get in the way of good teaching practice. Certain staff are fast tracked into top positions depending on your ability to seek the favour of the current glassy eyed head teacher. Rigorous interview processes are apparently followed when appointing these new babies but that is ALWAYS under debate. This all results in stressed, pressured teachers who are unproductive, demotivated and scared, An awful work culture. Stay away from this one. The head teachers and their ability to lead and inspire is questionable. They appear to be people who ran away from their own country because of their ineptitude, seeking importance and stature in another setting One thing for sure is that they are terrified of the MOE arriving and head teachers track their movements around the building on whatsapp groups trying to channel them towards successful classes and skipping out the less favourable. The best part about the MOE visiting is that there will be toilet paper in the bathrooms- a luxury most times. When it is deemed that you have outdone your usefulness, you will be interviewed online and tossed aside like a dirty piece of tissue by the head teacher...ghastly....Read More
