I joined in level 2 as a senior production operator and now moved 4 levels with the help of my team, managers and Learning and Development teams. Everyone put their heart and sole in their job. I too lead to go up in work and life in parallel.

Worked for multiple companys in my 12 years of experience but i feel RRD is best . They care about employeess. No work pressure. Top managements are easily reachable and down to earth..

Flexibility, constant interaction with higher level management and issues of the employees are address at 1st place, insights of an employee are considered and implemented ,Great environments to work with. Employees are 1st

Promotion , Salary hike as per the role and job done are not provided, this will discourage the work of an employee, if this is sorted this is the nice place to work, And to be open priority should be for all employees and there should not be any favouritism this should be avoided

Appraisal meetings are worse. Even if you perform good. You won't eligible for promotion. People who adjusts with the manager will get promotion. Some managers try to support and help you grow. But most of'em will use you. HR & Admin team are there for name sake.

Everything about rrd as a company is good. More employee friendly policies. But it's all about the process you're mapped into.

Dislikes

Managers and the corporate politics. Worst ever office politics. If the manager doesn't like you, they can ruin your life. Partiality and mind games at it's peak. If you're good at buttering the manager then this is the place for you, you'll grow unlimited. But if you're a normal professional worker please don't get yourself trapped here. They'll even ruin your mental health.

Good place for freshers to kick in with their career, to get some exposure to the technologies and hands-on experience. It's good to get one or two years of experience and move on, instead of sticking to the same company for more than 10 to 15 years here. 

Dislikes

Lack of management skill among the team leaders and managers; some of them don't even have proper knowledge. Also, the company prevents us from using AI tools and advanced tech concepts to explore; even we can't access GitHub for code references. The appraisal and other benefits are not at all up to the current industry standards.

No salary hike especially in SSC Division, Ground floor at RAP location . As a fresher I joined with ctc of 2.1 LPA. Take home after deduction is only less than 13,000. There is two appraisal, mid appraisal is only for name sake no appraisal will be given. Annual appraisal is only 4.5 % given. After one year appraisal, I received only 2.19 LPA. In take home only 600 per month has increased. I strongly recommend to not join here. You'll feel worst if you dare to do it....Read More
