Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

13grade onwards the package is very good. Salary/appraisal is good. Good experience. Work environment/work life depends on the people who you work with.

Loads of stress, sometimes you have to work for 18hours and off course most of the managers and superiors don’t care about your health as they only want their work to be done. No appreciation and no employee value. Save money so that When you go back home you can spend the money earned on medical bills. I mainly like the company rules and regulation and the company policy there is so many job to learn a steel making process is really doing in good condition in Qatar steel. I also like the trainings. I work in lime plant in Qatar steel and the wonderful thing is that the operators and millwright fitters behaving is very good when I j oin in Qatar steel as a contractor I was unknown about all the jobs but they gave me good training and tell briefly about all the jobs and the result is in a short period of time I know all the job. So overall I want to say Qatar steel is a good environment to work and also for growth the career....Read More

I only dislike the environment related things in Qatar steel such as land pollution, water pollution and noise pollution. Management must think about pollution we know we can not stop the pollution but we can control it

No job security. Salary and allowances are good. Company policies ok but practically no implementation . If you have support of any higher post then you are safe . If no support then very less chances of promtion. Rules are differ with person to person.

Dislikes

When ever any problem in steel market, management first and last remedy is to terminate employee. Those who dont have support terminated no matter how he is good in job only support required to avoid termination.
