Punjab Institute of cardiology is a tertiary care 500 bedded teaching hospital. It has nine fully equipped operation theaters and fifty bedded ICU with all modern facilities. More than 2700 cardiac procedures are being done annually. During my stay in this hospital as a charge nurse in ICU, I learned lot many things about new technology , procedures and latest patient care techniques. All the team mates and seniors were very cooperative. I was supposed to get annual appraisal twicely during my stay there. Shortage of manpower according to the number of patients was really discouraging and disappointing.

Work Details

Being a bedside nurse in ICU I was supposed to provide head to toe care to the patient like airway patency, heamodynamical stability monitoring and managing .. fluid electrolyte managment , blood gases interpretation and managment, sampling, feeding etc.

Work days: Rotational Shift (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within Country.
