Good daily allowances for international sites.

Dislikes

As a startup, the management reflects significant inefficiencies and poor organization. There is no proper coordination between HR, Admin, and Managers. Most of the managers are working part-time here while holding full-time positions at other companies. There is no work-life balance. The company enforces a 2-year bond, and if you resign during this period, you are required to pay 2 lakhs. Otherwise, they will withhold your documents. If the company sponsors a visa, the bond is extended by an additional 3 years with financial penalties. Overall, it feels like a trap to make money from employees . The daily allowance for Indian local sites is only Rs150. There are no cab facilities for traveling to on-site locations. Policies lacks standardisation, and management frequently changes leave policies and other rules without notice....Read More

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
