Please don't get into this sham you ladies, Orchids The International is a trap! These people are a bunch of losers who want women to work for them not just for the 7 hours shift but a 14 hours shift! Holding the employees salary is their hobby! They don't treat teachers as humans and still won't get appreciated. Students and teachers are still fine ! But the management is full of s*** assaulters and the principal (let's not talk about it) ! I'm talking about my branch and my experience with them hasn't been good. They don't even do full background checks on people/teachers/management. Salary is below decent. There are no benifits provided by this organization. Oh wait, I do remember some benefits: 1. Mental torture 2. Disrespect 3. Overwork 4. Manipulation 5. No empathy 6. No sick leave/paid time off (basically if you're taking a leave for a genuine reason, you're a lying to them) 7. No sanitary napkins in their infirmary for teachers 8. There is nothing to like in this school. They will treat you like animals.

They extend the timings, after office you have to work till 12,1. At night. Principal coordinator are very bad. That is why in every Month or in every week teacher gives resignation. No respect, very bad in terms of giving salary, they tell you to do overtime and after promising also they don't give that money .

I don't like this school or any of it's branches at all. It is one of the worst schools of India, Asia and the entire world. They have implemented no men policy here, and turned out all the males. It is completely unconstitutional and supervirus. Moreover, they have hiked the fees so much, and burdened the teachers so much that everyone has become a victim of depression. Working environment is not healthy. Higher authorities focuses on their businesses only, Principal of the Newtown branch is not supportive at all. Avoids parents, and puts the teachers in trouble if parents get confused and raises their concern.

I like the school's environment. I didn't face enough stress.

Terrible experience. The sahakarnagar branch, Bangalore fired 37 teachers without any reason. They even forced us to join the school and after 2 months the headmistress called us and told "as per central order we don't need that many teachers, and have to remove you". After this, they forced us to write resignation letters as it is we are leaving school for our personal reasons. Lastly they offered us 1 month extra salary and begged for resignation letter. The primary library teacher is horrible. She always mistreats with new teachers and gives all her classes and substitutions to new teachers. She complaints lies about the new teachers to headmistress. It was not expected. The teachers are not respected by the students also. The 5th standard students even slang the teachers. They are totally uncultured. They will make you cry and leave the class....Read More

Dislikes

Management is exploitative, they micromanage and do not respect the teachers enough. There is no area for teachers to take a little time to themselves and re compose themselves for a class. They do not treat teachers well at all.

I have several concerns that have led to my decision to resign from Orchids the international School. 1) Unilateral Changes to Job responsibilities - My role has been changed without my consent, and I've been assigned counselling work without relevant training or background. 2) Unrealistic workload and expectations- I've been tasked with completing incomplete data within an unrealistic timeframe without support, and I'm Expected to work late hours, Including Sunday's and Holiday's. 3) Disregards for employee well- being- The management has shown a lack of concern for my mental and physical health, expecting me to work despite health issues. 4) Unfair treatment and inaccurate accusations- I was marked Leave without pay(LWP) for not reading whatsapp messages where i was busy was with given tasked. 5) Company is only adding roles and responsibilities day by day not while increment hike they give 3-5% only. after giving 10hours to company. 6) lack of support and grievance redressal- My grievances have been ignored, I've received no Support or response from the management. Orchids gives a good syallabus and teaching aid, structure, curriculum plan to teachers which is beneficial.

Dislikes

No professionalism, any given time work can aride and employee is obliged to do that. Irrelevant work request, eg- Theatre teacher is asked to teach English and public speaking at times maths too.No salary raise, no bonuses, no performance evaluation based increments. And very poor approach by human relations department.

When i've joined everything was smooth only front desk work I need to do but later on they've mde School a CALL CENTRE.

Pathetic work culture & very bad Management. Bad increment after giving whole 1year they only increase 1000rs of your salary.Every week they made new policy which you have to accept weather you're comfortable or not.Those people who are working their since 4 years they don't respect and give appreciate but for new employees they give good salary 3 times better salary and so many more things.

As I am working in orchids from last 3 years. After corona school was working fine, but now the working environment is not good as principal here is toxic and do office politices. If you back answer her or say no to any work she will be back of your life. Still will make you work and call upto 11 pm in the night. Better go for ther school.

Everything is bad, they just hire you for their season time and in off season they will just call you and say tomorrow is your last day, shameless people, poor managers, poor owners, poor management overall worst company to join, no payback for your hard work. They just treat employees as working machine. Such companies will never grow.
