As i already shared, my overall experience was good at optum. Job security and work culture is excellent but work pressure is little bit more as per ‘my expectations’ that can differ for others. Salary is quite decent. It was good to be there at optum.

Dislikes

Career growth and salary hike is a quite slow process over there. Transport part is very good. But politics is very bad at working place.

Nothing for now. Last year it is used to be one of the best organisation. When it is used to be Episource. Now after Optum acquiring it becomes worst.

Extreme work pressure with no target consideration. Unrealistic target expectations. Rude behaviour of TL's. Working for more than 8,9 hours ended up to get marked as halfday . No work life balance. Even after having flexi hours for login. Managers constantly ask employees to login before 9am.

Working atmosphere is good and there is no frequent change in project, which helps to know the project and get stable in quality and production

Work pressure, no good salary hikes or promotion, Too much of internal politics which spoils the standards of an MNC.

I was forced to WTO despite my medical and family conditions. And when i asked to extend WFH i was asked to resign then management made me do it forcefully.

Please dont join optum unless you have been offer a good package and after join dont except beyond 4% hike and for name it is an product based company but worst than service based company, remember dont ever join dental team

Great WL balance, lots to learn and implement, and great culture. You'll definitely have job security here, if you're decently skilled - one of the very few product companies that are this good on these parameters..

Dislikes

Although such benefits are there, the company fails to recognize and promote decent talent. There was a monetized incentive program[apart from perf bonus] earlier, which got scrapped, the pay is on the lower end of a decent scale. There are some okay-ish benefits like medicals, annual checkups, vaccination drives, external gym membership[subsidized cult.fit].
