The management at ODL. There are certain staff members in every team within ODL who are gossip mongers and make life hell for newly joined employees. They are partial to newly joined employees who are their friends.(People they know outside ODL) They will publicly humiliate you, ridicicule you, threaten you about your weak performance at work(even if you are doing an okay job)....and the worst part? They are responsible for training new employees. They grade you. They decide if you are fit to work in the company or no. Many employees leave ODL after suffering at the hands of these senior staff. They usually work in groups. Every team has a group of such people. They're nothing but bullies. And they keep getting promoted. The management is aware that such staff exist within the company and have not taken any action on them for years. Why even hire outsiders at ODL? Hire only friends and family of these bullies. Let ODL be a company run by friends and family. I can blame only the management at ODL for the behaviour of such staff members....Read More

Dislikes

Their salary structure was very poor and they pay you approx to half of the current market prevailing salary package in the industry. The highest management always keep their clients in dark and always involved in almost everything i.e. they are the only ones who take all the decisions be it even the small decisions of the managers and team leaders which they are supposed to take and they are just kept as puppets with almost no authority, one man show sort of thing is there. Hardly you may get any appraisals and IJPs on time, even if you get that will be very less, very late and given with a biased attitude. Work load & pressure is too much which would help you to cope up with your next job. Experience in handling and working with international clients which is a positive factor.

Dislikes

1) Salary : Joining salary for freshers is Rs13300 (including P.F & insurance) & in hand salary is Rs 11300 which is very less considering the workload & pressure they burden you with. 2) Perfection : After joining, the company expects you to be expert within 1 month in productivity and accuracy. And would generally try to compareyour work with existing experienced employees. Also a whole lot of pressure & mental torture is put so that employees can achieve this within 1 month. 3) Management : Management literally treats its employees like a machine. You must be highly accurate in your work, no exception for human tendency of making even slighest errors. Quality manager makes employees cry after even 1 error. They roll out policies for employees without engaging its employees or without considering the opinion of its employees. 4) Work culture : Literally a school. Because of the following points: - Cant' eat on your desk not even a chocolate. (If they catch you eating on your desk or within working area ,they will mark you in your KRA which will directly affect your salary increment. KRA is your monthly performance scores which includes your productivity ,efficiency ,accuracy and your overall behavior) But thankfully drinking tea or cold drink is allowed. - Have to log in/ compensate for tea or coffee breaks. - No talking during work not even once....Read More

Overall work life was okay as I had joined in as a fresher, got to learn and experience different tasks and challenges in an work environment. But no salary satisfaction for the work we put in.
